Nova Design Group is a luxury design firm based in Kansas City partnered alongside award-winning home builder, Starr Homes and Renovations by Starr. Established in 2024, Nova is a full-service Interior Design firm, who specializes in creating unique spaces as unique as our clients.
From concept to reality, we offer services, in new construction, remodel, interior and architectural design, furniture procurement and furnishing. We work with teams of highly skilled trades and craftsmen, with hundreds of manufactures at our fingertips to bring you a full service, seamless design experience. We rely on our professional knowledge and experience in the design field to guide our clients through the design build process from start to finish.

(913) 230 - 561Angela holds a degree in Interior Design from The University of Kansas and has over 15 years of experience in the field, with nearly a decade spent honing her craft at Starr Homes. Now serving as the lead designer at Nova Design Group in partnership with Starr Homes, she demonstrates a remarkable ability to grasp her clients' visions and translate them into sophisticated and functional designs. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and expertise in lighting design, she has earned a reputation for creating captivating interiors. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she enjoys golf and pickleball, unwinding with a margarita poolside with her family, and exploring culinary creations in the kitchen. A proud mother to a music-loving son, she also shares her home with two lively dogs: Lucy, a chocolate labrador, and Penny, a mini goldendoodle, and her loving husband.
Lily Connley
Architectural Designer
Lily graduated from The University of Kansas with a degree in Interior Architecture in May of 2024 and is now an Architectural Designer for Nova Design group in partnership with Starr Homes. With a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for how interior spaces come together, Lily enjoys working with clients to create innovative design solutions. She is well-versed in a wide range of design periods and styles, allowing her to bring a diverse skill set to the team and contribute to various aspects of our projects. Outside of her professional work, Lily enjoys live music, drawing, spending time at the lake with her family, and playing with her nephew.
